SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR OUR VALUED GUESTS

Haven Salon + Spa has been hard at work to ensure the health and safety of our guests and employees as we plan to reopen our doors on Monday, May 18th. Please read below to understand how we will be handling all the details when you arrive for your scheduled appointment.

 

WHAT TO KNOW TO GET READY FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

We are reserving all our space for guests who have an appointment. Please make your best effort to avoid bringing your spouse, significant other or friends, if they do not have a reservation.

All seating areas in our welcome spaces have currently been eliminated, but we are working on outdoor seating at both of our locations, as an alternate waiting area for those nice spring and summer days. We are asking all guests to wait in their car if they arrive early and enter the building promptly at the appointment time. We have asked our service providers to make their best effort to meet you at the door, when you walk in. If your service provider is running late, we will text or call to ask if you would not mind waiting until they are ready.

Please utilize Haven’s Touchless Experience by downloading the Haven app. Here you will be able to check-in and pay for your service without ever stopping at the front desk.

At your next visit, you will find that we have eliminated paper receipts. All receipts will be sent by email or text only. There are new digital forms that will be collected prior to your appointment. Please ensure these forms are complete prior to your check in time. These include our COVID-19 questionnaire and we are asking all guests to complete a new guest intake form, even if you have already done so, in the past. In addition to our new digital intake forms, you will begin to receive your service consent forms digitally. All forms are mobile friendly, and will save you time as well as eliminate the clipboard hand-off. In conjunction with this, we will also begin to email all aftercare instructions.

We are not requiring our guests to wear face masks, however, if you would like to wear a face mask during your visit, we ask that you bring your own. Through the COVID-19 questionnaire you may request that your service provider wear a face mask during the duration of your appointment. Our policy requires our employees to wear face masks for specific services and recommends the use of face masks for all others. Thus, you should expect to see your service provider wear a face mask for all spa services, where those services require a closer proximity to perform.

At our front desks, you will find touchless alcohol sanitizers which we encourage you to use before and after your appointment. New touchless soap dispensers will be installed in all bathrooms by early June. All Testers will be suspended until further notice. Certain product testers will be made available and must be dispensed by the front desk concierge.

We have installed Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization Technology (Air Purification System) in New Berlin and Muskego locations. This technology emits harmless ions which flow with the air into the open space. Testing results have shown high and effective kill rates for not only surface pathogens, but also airborne, making it a stand-alone defensive control we are happy to have as an extra precaution for our employees and guests.
